Canadian Artists '68 awards
              Richard Hamilton, the painter, and William Turnbull,
             the sculptor and painter (right) were judges of
             paintings and sculptures submitted to the recent
             Canadian Artists '68 organized at the Art Gallery of
             Ontario, with prize money totalling $21,000. Below
             are some of the award-winners' works: below left.
             Inflated hillscape,  vinyl and air, 131 x 168 in., by
             N. E. Thing Co (Pres: lain Baxter); below right, a
             sculpture by Peter Kolisnyk,  Space composition
             dark brown,  acrylic, 85 x147 in.; bottom left Les
             Levine's Photons (group of twelve), plastic and elec-
             trically-operated mechanisms. 72 x 12 in. diam ;
             bottom centre Regatta, mixed media, 51½ x 48 in.,
             by Jack Chambers ; and, bottom right Francois Dory's
             Nimbe,  plexiglass, steel and light, 83¾ x 57½ x 6
             ⅛ in. Another award-winner in the painting and
             sculpture sections was Greg Curnoe. one of whose
             works is illustrated on the facing page.
