You must be pleased that quite a number of them
have been taken up by the Marlborough Gallery.
I am very pleased indeed that the Marlborough
is showing some interest, though I don't know how
many it is going to take up quite definitely.
What do you feel gives you most satisfaction, look-
ing back at what your gallery did?
Well, there were of course a few older artists who
already had reputations, but still I was proud to
show their work; and with these and the younger
ones whom the gallery really launched—there's
one exception, I never had the privilege of showing Right, Helen Lessore Self-portrait II 1966
Lucien Freud; but what gives me most pleasure is oil on canvas, 10 x 8 in.
