The mixture of the 2 loops in performance
creates by gradual displacement (because of the
slight difference in their lengths) a variable
rhythmic structure; with every return, clusters
are continually remodified as their particles
disperse.
Piece (1971) was made with Geoff MacEwan
and Paul Martin at the Audio-Visual Studio of
the Slade School, London.
