Below right Family group, 1966, welded steel, by the Austrian sculptor Ernst
Eisenmayer, whose gouaches and sculptures are on show at the Mercury Gallery
from October 12. Eisenmayer, who was taken into Dachau in 1938, lives and
works in London. Previous one-man shows were at John Whibley Gallery and
Mercury Gallery. (Price range: gouaches from 15 gns.; sculptures 60-300 gns.)
Painting No. 1, 1966, oil on canvas, by Diane Blanchflower, who shares
an exhibition with Lindsay Blyth and Helen Glass at the Newburgh Gallery—
to October 25.
Far left David Warren's Kriegsopfer, one of the 'Group H' works on show
at the Drian Gallery in October. Formed in 1951 as the Hendon Experimental
Art Group, 'Group H' has twenty-two members and has held thirty-five
exhibitions.
