     Painting 2. Series 21967, acrylic resin, 68 x 68 in., by
      John Loveless in his first one-man show, at the
      Arnolfini Gallery, 42 Triangle West, Bristol until
      September 20. Loveless was born in Bristol where he
      studied architecture and art. (Price range: £8—£490.)

      Ziggurat 1965, resin and wood, 66 x 40 in., by Michael
      Pennie in a one-man exhibition of sculpture and
      drawings at the Midland Group, 11 East Circus
      Street, Nottingham from September 16 to October 7.
      Pennie is a visiting lecturer at the Bath Academy of
      Art and has shown in the Young Contemporaries,
      at the A.I.A., and at the I.C.A. in 1965 (one-man).

      St Austell Landscape 1 1967, acrylic, 36 x 48 in. by
      Ken Symonds in a group show at the Penwith Society
      of Arts until September 16. A member of the Penwith
      Society of Arts and the Newlyn Society of Artists,
      Symonds has travelled on commission for book-
      publishers in East and West Africa. He has paintings
      in many private collections and in the Plymouth City
      Permanent Collection. (Price range: from 10 gns.)

      Zen 1   1966, in wood, 25x 15x 5 in. by Henry Clyne
      at Arlington Mill, Bibury near Cirencester, Gloucester-
      shire until September 30, in an exhibition of thirty-
      three-dimensional pieces based on the word 'zen',
      called '3D + Zen x 30'. Clyne studied at Edinburgh
      College of Art, won a Harkness Fellowship to the
      U.S.A., and is now on the staff of Gloucestershire
      College of Art. He has exhibited in New York and
      throughoutthe U.K. (Price range: 10s—£100.)

      Down on the farm 1964, an etching and aquatint,
      12 x 15 in. by Gareth Jones in an exhibition of
      original prints by Holographics, at the Stable Gallery,
      Lower Ufford, near Woodbridge, Suffolk, until
      September 24. Jones trained at Ipswich School of Art,
      and has exhibited in England and Europe. Also
      exhibiting are Eddie Allen and Charles Fahlen.

      Precedimiento-Bordado, a tapestry, 100 x 119 in. by
      Aurelia Munoz at the Richard Demarco Gallery,
      8 Melville Crescent, Edinburgh. Also exhibiting will
      be Julian Snelling (sculpture), David Partridge
      (nail-paintings) and Sax Shaw (tapestries).
