Israel
In July, 1973 trees along a highway in Israel were
photographed, in a random manner, from a moving
automobile to determine if any signs of the eternal
presence of our Biblical ancestors could be found
within the natural environment of the Holy Land.
Un-retouched enlargements of the photographs do, in
fact, reveal the appearance of many faces.
For this piece the artist has made conventional
renderings of some of the faces in one of the
enlargements to assist the perception of those who
may not perceive in the same manner. The drawing
loins with this statement and several photographs
to constitute the final form of this piece.
