On exhibition A selection from current and forthcoming exhibitions
Terry Ibbott's Sonoressent, acrylic on canvas, 96 x 72 in., which won the
major Stuyvesant Foundation award at the Young Contemporaries Exhibition
held recently at the F.B.A. Gallery. Terry I bbott is a student at the
Slade School of Art.
Below Norman Toynton's Night Thoughts, 1964, oil on canvas, 60 x 60 in.
at the Zwemmer Gallery this March in a three-man exhibition entitled Essays
in Narrative: 'the term "narrative" is used to convey the type of image-making
which runs parallel to, or stems from, a theme that is basically literary in
content'. Other exhibitors are Eric Brown and John Walker.
Left Victor Vasarely's Monastir II, 1959, tempera on
board, 20 1/2 x 14 1/2 in., at the Brook Street Gallery
from April 27, together with works by Louis Kassak.
Right Hotter, 1957. oil painting, 47 1/4 x 21 5/8 in., by
Bruno Goller, in an exhibition of Golfer's work which
opens at the Hanover Gallery on March 22.
