Dadaist composition (A la mémoire de Leonard de
Vinci) 1919, collage, 19 x 13 in., by Francis Picabia
at Hanover, 32a Saint George Street, W.1 from March
12 until April 19. As well as Picabia's paintings and
collages, the exhibition includes sculptures by
Man Ray.

Negatron 1967, oil on canvas, 3 x 3 ft., by Timothy
Dreyer at Lisson, 68 Bell Street, N.W.1 in March.
The show is entitled 'The dreams of Euclid' and is a
one-man show. Timothy Dreyer was born in 1935,
studied mathematics at Cambridge and taught for
three years in Istanbul before he took up painting
full-time and went to Vienna. In 1964 he returned
to London and took part in several shows including
John Moores, 'Soundings Three' at Signals, and
the 'Edinburgh Open 100'. He is currently
represented in the show '25 Camden artists' in the
Camden Arts Festival, at Swiss Cottage Library.

Windmills 1918, woodcut by Lyonel Feininger at Folio
Fine Art, 6 Stratford Place, W.1 in an exhibition of
master prints. Feininger was born in 1871 and died
in 1956 in New York. He went to Germany in 1887
where he trained and did the majority of his most
influential work. In 1912 he met members of the
Brücke group and the following year exhibited with
the Blaue Reiter together with Kandinsky, Jawlensky
and Klee. He taught at the Bauhaus and returned
to America in 1937. He was represented in the
exhibition 'Kandinsky and his friends' at
Marlborough, 1966.

Polyhedron 1968, cast aluminium, 11 x 5 in., by
Donald Wells at Cassel, 8a Thurloe Place, S.W.7
through March. The show consists of work by four
very contrasting artists: Wells, Thompson, Morrisey
and Barker. (Price range: £30—£200.)

Smiling seal 1967, colour etching and relief print by
Birgit Skiöld at Curwen, 1 Colville Place, Whitfield
Street, W.1 through March. Born in Sweden, she
came to England in 1948 and studied at the Anglo-
French Art Centre. In 1957 she opened the
Print-workshop for artists engaged in printmaking
both from this country and from abroad. (Price
range: 8 gns.-20 gns.)

The fall 1961, oil on hardboard, 36 x 60 in., by Tyeb
Mehta at the Commonwealth Institute, Kensington
High Street, W.8 until March 24. There are two
exhibitions running here concurrently: Tyeb Mehta
from India and David Couling from New Zealand.
