could do it'
A selection from the exhibition ' "A child of
six could do it" : cartoons about modern art', at
the Tate Gallery, London, until 8 July. The
exhibition, organized by Michael Compton
with the assistance of George Melly, presents
some 30o cartoons dating from the late 19th
century to the present time.
