`Nice Style', the world's first pose band during a tight training schedule in a London gymnasium, preparing for their forthcoming semi-domestic
spectacular, Deep Freeze, a four-part pose opera based on the life-style and values of a mid-west American vacuum cleaner operative.
This training also equips 'Nice Style' for the strenuous postures required in their films—Crease Crisis, The Crease Conscious Kid, Detached in Sussex
and The pleasures of sparse mod versus the treasures of lavish trad.
The film Crease Crisis represents the transition for 'Nice Style' from live performance to film. A reaction to this change comes from a member of
`Nice Style' : 'It has always been my ambition that my statements, angry or passionate, artful or naive, will provoke a smile.'
Another extension of 'Nice Style's' activities is a comprehensive mail order synopsis on modern pose, paralleled by the imminent release of their
latest recording, The Ten Benefits of Modern Posture. The Pose Workshop opens at the Royal College of Art, London, in November.
