       La Romance 1965, collage, 31½ x 31½ in., by Boris
       Vansier, May 2-23 at Iris Clert, 28 rue du Faugbourg
       St-Honore, in an exhibition entitled Erotic Fortnight,
       'Offrandes'. Of Swiss nationality, born in Russia in
       1927, Vansier exhibited '30 Portraits of General de
       Gaulle' at Iris Clert in 1965 and Waddell, New York,
       in 1966. (Price range: $500—$1,500.)

       C.III-15, 1962, oil on canvas, 39 x 41¾ in., by  Pie
       Sadun in a one-man exhibition during May at La
       Medusa, 124 Via Babuino. In 1954 Sadun won the
       National Competition for a professorship in graphic
       arts in the Institute of Arts of Urbino and since 1957
       he has been a professor of the Institute of Arts in
       Rome. Exhibitions include Milione, Milan; Bussola,
       Turin; Delius, New York; and, in 1960, the Venice
       Biennale. In 1959 the Tate acquired one of his
       paintings.

       Fino all' Ultimo Compassione 1967, nitroacrylic on
       shaped aluminium, approx. 9 x 6 ft, by Silvio
       Pasotti May 5-22 in his second one-man show at
       Cadario, 65 via del Babuino. Born in 1933, Pasotti
       studied at Accademia Carrara in Bergamo. His
       one-man exhibitions include 1957 Arthur Jeffreys,
       London, and exhibitions in Milan, Turin, Venice,
       Lugano and Monaco.

       Interieur en Tunisie 1921, pencil, 8 x 12 in. by Jules
       Pascin (1885-1930), in an exhibition of his drawings
       and watercolours until June 10 at Perls, 1016 Madison
       Avenue. An American citizen, born in Bulgaria and
       for long resident in Paris, Pascin worked at one time
       on the paper Simplicissimus. (Price range:
       $600—$2,400.)

       Proposed Colossal Monument for Times Square:
       Banana 1965, watercolour and crayon, 24½ x 19 in. b
       Claes Oldenburg showing new work at Sidney Janis
       15 East 57th Street, until May 31. Born 1929 in
       Stockholm, Oldenburg received a degree from Yale
       in 1950 and studied atthe Art Institute of Chicago
       1953-4. Since 1956 he has been working and living
       in New York. His exhibitions include The Store, held
       in his New York Studio in 1961 ; Judson, Reuben
       and Green galleries, New York, and recently
       Moderna Museet, Stockholm and Robert Fraser,
       London. 'Stars' and 'Autobodys' were two of his
       1963 Happenings.

       La Courrière / 1966, oil on canvas, 58¼ x 58¼ in. by
       Anne Dunn in her first American show at
        Fischbach, 29 West 57th Street beginning May 9 to June 4.
       English born, Anne Dunn lives and works in France
       and studied in Canada, the Chelsea Polytechnic am
       the Academie Julian, Paris. She will have her fourth
       exhibition at Leicester Galleries, London, this June.

       Radiale L,1966, bronze, 51⅛  x 39⅜  x 39⅜  in. by Gio
       Pomodoro, showing sculpture at Marlborough
       Gerson, 41 East 57th Street, during May. Pomodoro
       had his first principal exhibition at Galleria Numero,
       Florence, in 1954. Exhibitions include Bonino,
       Buenos Aires; the Venice Biennale, 1962; Dom,
       Cologne; 'Italian Sculptors of Today', Dallas Museu
       Texas; the Gulbenkian Foundation, Tate, London,
       and last year '20 Italian Sculptors', Arts Council,
       Edinburgh.
