by Peter Leonard Donnelly, exhibiting recent
painting and watercolours at the Institute of
Advanced Architectural Studies, University of
York, May 1-31. Now a lecturer at West Sussex
College of Art, Donnelly exhibited earlier this year
at Drian, London. (Price range: £8-£65.)

in an exhibition of new paintings from May 2-25
at Ashgate, Wagon Yard, Downing Street,
Farnham. Once a student at Croydon and the
Royal College of Art, Waugh now teaches in

6 x 9 in., by June Hainault at Lightning Mark
Group, Rye, in an exhibition of recent oils and the
first showing of Collages de la Mer from May 13 to

Concave Reflector 1, 1967, metallised polystyrene
and painted zinc, by Humphrey Spender at The
Minories, 74 High Street, Colchester in a
retrospective 'Various Aspects of the Work of
Humphrey Spender', May 6-27. Tutor in the textile
school at the Royal College of Art, an architect,
painter and photographer, Spender has four times
won design awards at London's Design Centre.

Study for Berlin Blues I, 1965, gouache, 21½ x 27¼
in., by William Scott at Bear Lane, 6 Bear Lane,
Oxford, May 4-27, in an exhibition with
Anuskiewicz, who is showing prints. Included in
Scott's exhibitions are Documenta-Art of the 20th
Century, Kassel, 1955, and the Pittsburg Carnegie
International, 1958. His first one-man show was
held in London in 1942 at Leger and in New York
in 1954 at Martha Jackson. Recent exhibitions
include the Hanover, London 1965, Gimpel Hanover,
Zurich, and Dawson, Dublin, 1967.

Untitled 1962, oil on canvas, 72 x 72 in. (diamond)
by Bernard Cohen at Arnolfini, 42 Triangle West,
Bristol, until May 31, exhibiting five large paintings
of 1961-6, related drawings, and nine lithographs.
These paintings have never been shown before
in this country. In July Cohen exhibits at Kasmin,
London. (Price range: paintings £500-£600;
lithographs 18 gns; drawings £50-£60.)

Oracle 1966, bronze, 15 x 15 in., by Leonard
Schwartz at Moyan, 31 Brown Street, Manchester,
May 4-24. Now head of the sculpture school at
Maidstone College of Art, Schwartz formerly taught
at the University of Colorado and was one time
director of the Denver Art Academy. His exhibitions
include twenty-one one-man shows in the U.S.,
Paris and London, where he first exhibited at Lords
in 1958. (Price range: 50 gns-400 gns.)
