Reflections 1967, aluminium and glass, 35 x 16 in.,
by Hubert Dalwood, at Gimpel Fils, June 20-July 15.
Appointed in 1964 as visiting professor of the
University of Illinois, Dalwood has taught at Leeds,
Hornsey and Maidstone Colleges and the Royal
College of Art. His commissions include Manchester
University Refectory, London Press Exchange, and
Nuffield College, Oxford.

A Gypsy Tent 1937, watercolour, 20 x 24 in. by
Dame Laura Knight, at Upper Grosvenor from
May 19 to June 2, showing drawings and
watercolours with portraits and seascapes by her
late husband Harold Knight. A former student at
Nottingham School of Art, Dame Laura Knight
became an Associate of the Royal Academy in
1927 and an Academician in 1936. In 1965 the
Royal Academy held a large retrospective of her
work. (Price range: £45-£1,000.)

Flagon, silver, parcel gilt, made in Birmingham in
1844, height 10½ in. designed by A. W. N. Pugin
(1812-52) on loan from Elson Church, Hampshire,
in 'From Copy to Creation', Victorian Treasures
from English Churches, Goldsmith's Hall, May 17-
June 7. The exhibition is organized by the
Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and the
Victorian Society and contains key pieces of
church plate designed between 1830 and 1918.
Pugin, Street and Wilson are among the great
Victorian architect/designers represented.

Daedalus Imprint 1961, oil and sand, 30 x 50 in., by
Michael Ayrton in his third one-man show at
Grosvenor, May 11-20, in an exhibition of sculpture,
paintings and drawings on the theme 'The
Mazemaker' to coincide with the publication of his
'legendary biography' of Daedalus. In 1955 the
Whitechapel held a retrospective of Ayrton's
work. He has shown in galleries in Milan, Rome,
Paris, Zurich, Chicago and New York.

16 Boules, 16 Cubes, sur Sept rangées, 1966, wood,
31½ x 15¾ x 7⅞ in., by Pol Bury in his first one-man
show in England at Kasmin until May 20. Since
1953 Bury has regularly exhibited moving
sculptures, and participated in the Venice
Biennale 1964, Premio National and International
Institute Torcuato di Tella, Buenos Aires, 1965
and Kinetic Art, San Francisco and Santa Barbara,
1966. (Price range: £550-£1,800.)

Georgia's Delight 1966, oil on canvas, 72 x 90 in.
by Tess Jaray in her second one-man show at
Hamilton-May 9-June 3. The British Central
Office of Information recently commissioned Tess
Jaray to make a mural for the British Pavillion at
Expo '67, Montreal (see Studio International, March,
pp. 150-1). She will also exhibit at the Ninth
International Art Exhibition, Tokyo, this May.

Baboons, from the Africa Suite 1966, oil on canvas,
24 x 30 in., by Julian Trevelyan, at Zwemmer
until May 27. The Suite consists of thirty paintings
and twelve etchings realized after a two-month
trip to East Africa. Since 1955 Trevelyan has been
Senior Tutor of Engraving at the Royal College of
