Relief a Deplacement du Spectateur 1966, by Julio Le
Parc from April 3 until May 15 at Indica Gallery.
Born in 1928 in Mendoza, Argentina, Le Parc, founder
member of Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel, won
the International Prize at the 1966 Venice Biennale.

The departure of the astronaut 1966, oil, 63 x 47 ¼ in.,
by Raquel Forner at Drian Gallery, through April.
Born in Buenos Aires, Raquel Forner studied in
Paris with Othon Friesz. A jury headed by Herbert
Read awarded her the Grand Prize of Honour at the
American Art Biennale at Cordoba.

Bird Woman 1965, watercolour, 22 ½ x 30 ¾ in., by
Edward Burra at Lefevre Gallery in an exhibition of
recent watercolours from April 13 to May 6. Born in
1905, Burra lives in Rye, Sussex, and paints entirely
in watercolour. His subjects range from social satire,
landscapes, still-life, to religious themes. His
watercolours are sometimes on a large scale.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence 1920, oil on canvas, 24 x 30 in.
by Adolphe Milich 1886-1964, Circle Gallery
beginning April 1 until May 28. Born in Poland but
Swiss by adoption, Milich was a member of the
Ecole de Paris. His friends included Puccini,
Pascin, Lipchitz, Matisse, Braque and Picasso.
He developed a paralysis in his later life and
trained himself to work with his left hand.

Seated Buddha in the attitude of calling the earth to
witness 11th to 14th century, bronze, 28 in. high,
found in Northern Thailand near Chieng Mai, at
Roland, Browse & Delbanco in an exhibition of
Khmer and Thai sculptures until April 29.
Over a hundred works have come from Thailand
dating from the 7th to the 18th centuries.

Drawing 1966, pen and ink on paper, 23 x 30 in. by
Anthony Benjamin at Zwemmer Gallery in an
exhibition of prints and drawings March 22—April 22.
Born in 1931, Benjamin, who is having his first
exhibition at Zwemmer, will exhibit at Galerie Stadler
Paris, later this year. (Price range: 20 gns-45 gns.)
