       60x 48 in. by Peter Miller, at the Jacey Gallery until
       February 19. Miller has had showings in London,
       Huddersfield, and Northampton. (Prince range:

       Seashore 1966, tapestry (warp-cotton, weft-worsted,
       cheviot, jute) 5 x 62 ft, by Tadek Beutlich at the
       Grabowski Gallery New Prints and Tapestries
       exhibition— to March 3. On March 30 Batsford publish
       his book on the technique of woven tapestry. His
       tapestry Twin Suns was recently selected for this
       summer's Biennale of tapestries in Lausanne.

       L'etang aux bouleaux 1966, oil on canvas, 28 x 24 in.
       by Bernard Gantner, in the Madden Gallery's
       Snow Exhibition from February 16 to March 8. Born
       in Belfort 1928, Gantner has had one-man exhibitions
       in Geneva and Zurich. A book by Claude Roger-Marx
       on Gantner's work is due to be published shortly.

       The Wright Hepburn Gallery is featuring Four New
       Designers from February 1 to 25. Over the past two
       years a hundred would-be theatre designers have
       shown their designs to the gallery; six have been
       selected for exhibition ; four are exhibiting this
       February—Francesco Colavecchia, David Collis,
       Bernard Culshaw, and John Skinner. Illustrated is
       one of Francesco Colavecchia's sets for Christopher
       Fry's The Lady's Not for Burning. Colavecchia is
       now a resident designer at the Oxford Playhouse.

       Pool. Glide Crossing 1966, oil on board, 48 x 48 in,
       by Nevil Dallas Brown at Piccadilly Gallery to
       March 4. Born in 1938, Brown lives in Dundee and
       teaches at Dundee College of Art. One-man
       exhibitions include 57 Gallery, Edinburgh, and
       Tib Lane Gallery, Manchester. (Price range:
       drawings 20 gns; paintings to 200 gns.)

       Swiss Cottage 1913, squared crayon and watercolour,
         x 11 in. by Robert Bevan (1865-1925) in an
       exhibition of fifty drawings and watercolours at
       Anthony d'Offay until March 10. Bevan was an
       important figure in the Camden Town Group. The
       present exhibition includes work done from the early
       Pont-Aven period to the later work in Devon and
       Somerset. (Price range: 45 gns-150 gns.)

       The Girl from Barbados 1966, oil on canvas, 36 x 36 in.
       by Philip Sutton at Roland, Browse and Del banco
       Gallery—February 23—March 23. The show consists
       of paintings done in the last year. Sutton has had
       five one-man shows at Roland, Browse and Delbanco
       since 1956 and one-man shows atthe Geffrye Museum
       and Leeds City Art Gallery.
