15 3/8 in. by Gioxe de Michel i in a one-man show
ending February 15 at Galleria Milano, Via della
Spiga. De Micheli's exhibitions include Quinto
Concorso Nationale I.N.A., Milan, 1962, when he won
the top prize, and Mostre della Figurazione—at
Galleria Giliberti, Milan, in 1963. He works and lives
in AI bisola Mare (Savona).

Magritte—until February 11 at Galerie lolas, 196
Boulevard Saint-Germain. Magritte, the Surrealist
painter, was trained in Brussels and has travelled
widely in France, Britain, Germany and Holland.

Sphère-trames 1962, aluminium, diameter 85 1/2 in., by
Francois Morellet, at Denise René, 124 Rue de la
Boétie, 196 Boulevard Saint Germain, beginning
end-February. A member of Groupe Recherche d'Art
Visuel, Morellet was winner of the first prize at the
1963 Paris Biennale, In 1965 he participated in The
Responsive Eye at the Museum of Modern Art, N.Y.,
and exhibited in KunstLichtKunst at Eindhoven
last year.

brass, height 16 in. by Annemie Fontana (to
February 28) in Sculpture and Reliefs, at Galerie
Suzanne Bollag, Limmatquai 116. The Swiss-born
artist began working as a sculptor in 1950 and since
1954, he has taken part in many group shows at the
Kunsthaus and the Helmhaus in Zurich, at
Kunsthalle, Basel and the museums of Lucerne and
Aarau.
