       Michael Tippett 1966, oil on canvas, 5 x 4 ft, by
       Bryan Organ in an exhibition of paintings, drawings
       and gouaches at the Redfern Gallery-March 7-
       April 1. This is Organ's first one-man exhibition in
       London. He has recently been teaching painting and
       drawing at Loughborough College of Art.
       Price range: paintings 75 gns-500 gns; drawings
       and gouaches 16 gns-18 gns.)

       Mistinguett 1928, poster, 62 3/4 x 47 1/4 in., by Zig in
       an exhibition 'The Entertainment World' at
       Lords Gallery, during March and April. The way
       in which Zig portrays Mistinguett, a prominent
       figure in the Folies Bergère, reflects the strong
       influence of Matisse on 'Art Décoratif. Lords
       Gallery, which has some 300 posters permanently
       on show, is the one gallery in Great Britain regularly
       to exhibitthis art form. Included in the exhibition
       are posters by Chéret, Lautrec and Mucha. (Price
       range: £1 0-£200.)

       Family Group on a Bench on the Quai des Dames,
       c. 1939, black chalk drawing, 8 x 10 in., by Sir
       William Nicholson 1872-1949, in an exhibition of
       prints and drawings at Folio Fine Art Ltd from
       March 17-31. Under the name of 'The Beggarstaff
       Brothers' Nicholson and his brother-in-law
       James Pryde achieved a new look in English poster
       designs. He was also responsible for a series of
       woodcuts, of which 'Queen Victoria and her Dog'
       is the best known. (Price range: £5-£100.)

       Shadowed Growth 1966, oil on canvas, 66 x 42 in.,
       by John Hitchens at Marjorie Parr, until March 11.
       His group exhibitions include Bradford City Art
       Gallery, Brighton Art Gallery and Ulster Museum,
       Belfast. (Price range: £35-£250.)

       Flemish Memory 1966, lithograph in green on Imperial
       Barcham Mills hand-made paper, edition of 12
       signed and numbered, by Peter Baer, in an
       exhibition of new lithographs at Curwen from
       March 8-31. In 1960 Baer joined Stanley Jones at
       the Curwen Studio and is now manager and
       responsible for collaboration with artists whose prints
       are made there. He previously taught at the Central
       School, and exhibited at Beaux Arts Gallery between
       1953 and 1957. (Price range: 8 gns-15 gns.)

       Basilica 1962, aquatint, 14 in. square, by Lia
       Rondelli in an exhibition of etchings at Everyman
       Foyer Gallery, Hampstead, until March 12. Working
       in London, painter and etcher Rondelli has had
       one-man shows of paintings in Milan, Rome and
       Venice and etchings exhibited in Turin and
       Venice. Her group shows include Biennale Incisione
       Italiana, Venice, 1965. (Price range: 10 gns-15 gns.)
