Pink Center 1967, plastic, 10 in. x 2 ft x 22 ft, by David
Weinrib, at Royal S. Marks Gallery, 19 East 71st Street
—March 4—April 1. A sculpture teacher at New York's
School of Visual Arts, Weinrib has exhibited in the
1964/65 Whitney Annual, the Mao Paulo Biennale
1965, and 'Concrete Expressionism' at Loeb Center,
New York University. The present exhibition is his
second one-man show at Royal Marks.

Flanders 1961, oil on canvas, 79 x 59 in., by Franz
Kline (1910-62) at Marlborough-Gerson Gallery Inc.,
41 East 57th Street—March 1-25. Kline, who studied
at the School of Fine and Applied Art, Boston
University was a leader of the New York Abstract
Expressionist School. An important travelling
exhibition of his paintings and drawings, organized
by the Museum of Modern Art, was shown at galleries
in several European cities two year's ago, including
London's Whitechapel Art Gallery.

The Dining Room 1966, 70x 80 in., by Warren Brandt,
in an exhibition from March 4to 24 at A. M. Sachs
Gallery, 822 Madison Avenue. Brandt graduated
from the Washington University School of Fine Arts
in 1948 and was chairman of Southern Illinois
University art department from 1959 to 1961. He has
been strongly influenced by Matisse, Villon and
Bonnard. (Price range: $400—$3,500.)

Aleph Series 111960, acrylic on canvas, 8 ft 10 in. x
6 ft 6 in., by Morris Louis (1912-62) in an exhibition
March 4-23, at Andre Emmerich Gallery, 41 East
57th Street. A large Morris Louis retrospective
exhibition, which closes at the Los Angeles County
Museum of Art on March 26, opens at the Boston
Museum of Fine Arts on April 12 and at the City Art
Museum of St Louis on June 15.

Venus 1965, oil on canvas, 60x 60 in., by Robert
Natkin, in his fifth one-man exhibition at Poindexter
Gallery, 21 West 56th Street—March 21—April 8.
Natkin, who is showing new paintings, graduated
from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1952, where he
has participated in exhibitions. One-man shows
include Wells Street Gallery, Chicago, Ferus Gallery,
Los Angeles, Fairweather-Hardin Gallery, Chicago,
and Kalamazoo Art Center. (Price range: $300—
$2,500.)

Billis Game No 1 1963, oil on canvas, 84x 68 in., by
Alan Davie at Galerie de France, 3 Faubourg Saint
Honoré, in an exhibition of recent paintings—to
April 2. Davie has taught, lectured and broadcast
in Britain, spent a period as a jazz musician, and
been a craftsman in gold and silver jewellery. He
has won the Prix Guggenheim, Museum of Modern
Art, Paris, and Guggenheim Museum, New York.
Recent one-man shows include Martha Jackson
Gallery, New York, La Medusa Gallery, Rome, and
Gimpel Fils, London. His work is the subject of a
monograph to be published by Lund Humphries
