Minotaur 1964, charcoal drawing, 30 x 22 in., by
Dennis Creffield in an exhibition of drawings
1960-66 at Queen Square Gallery, Claypit Lane,
Leeds from March 8 until April 1. Gregory Fellow in
painting at Leeds University since 1964, Creffield
exhibited in the 1965 International Exhibition of
Drawings in Toronto and was a prize winner at
John Moore's Liverpool Exhibition in 1961. A student
of Bomberg, he has exhibited in numerous mixed
exhibitions, including 'Four English Painters',
Stockholm and Sheffield University Festival 1960.

Urchin 1966, welded and burnished metal, 2 ft high,
by Yunus in an exhibition of sculpture at Bear Lane
Gallery, Oxford during March. Born in Pakistan 1943
and trained at St Martin's School of Art, Yunus has
exhibited at Alwin Gallery, London, Primavera
Gallery, Cambridge and Leicester University Arts

African Seed-Pod 1966, oil on canvas, 48 x 36 in., by
Mary Wandraush at the Ashgate Gallery, Wagon
Yard, Downing Street, Farnham. The March
exhibition will be devoted to an exhibition of
'Flower Paintings' in oil and watercolour by eight

Eye to Eye 1942,14 1/4 x 9 1/2 in., ink and coloured crayon
by Scottie Wilson at New Charing Cross Gallery,
494 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, in an exhibition
of watercolours, pastels, and painted plates-until
March 18. Now entering its fourth year, New Charing
Cross operates on a non-commercial basis. Its
primary aim is to show work of artists working in
Scotland but in connection with the Commonwealth
Festival, J. D. Ferguson, Joan Eardley and David
Partridge were exhibited and earlier shows have
included Modern Irish Painting and the Scottish
Arts Council's permanent collection. (Price range:

Vanity Box and Green Hand 1964, plaster, wood, iron,
life size, by Laurence Burt, in an exhibition of
paintings and sculpture shared with Stassinos
Paraskos at Howard Roberts Gallery, 49 Westgate
Street, Cardiff, March 4-25. Self-taught, Burt has bee
principal lecturer in the fine art department, Cardiff
College of Art, since 1964 and has taught at Leeds
and Leicester Colleges of Art. Drian Galleries gave
him his first one-man show in 1961. (Price range:
