Interior 1967, oil on board, 18 x 24 in., by Anthony
Whishaw at Roland, Browse and Delbanco, 19
Cork Street, W.1 from January 18 until February 17.
Anthony Whishaw was born in 1930 and studied at
Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College, from
which he won a travelling scholarship and went to
Spain. He has held four one-man shows at this
gallery and took part in 'Critic's Choice' at Arthur
Tooth's in 1959.

House mask, 60 x 15 in., from 'Gods, Ghosts and
Ancestors' at Gallery 43, 28 Davies Street, W.1 until
January 27. The exhibition includes sculpture in
terracotta and wood from Africa, Melanesia,
S. America and Tibet. (Price range: £15—£3,000)

Yellow room 1967 acrylic on canvas, 84 x 102 in., by
Marc Vaux at Axiom, 79 Duke Street, W.1 until
January 20. Born in Swindon in 1932, Marc Vaux
studied at the Slade School of Fine Art. He lives in
London and teaches part-time at Hornsey College
of Art. He has held three one-man shows in London
and has taken part in many group shows.

Drips, 1967, chromeplated steel, 34 x 14 x 15 in.,
by Clive Barker at Robert Fraser, 69 Duke Street,
Grosvenor Square, W.1 through January. Clive
Barker, born in Luton in 1940, began to make
objects in 1962. He has exhibited in several group
shows including one in Paris with Hamilton,
Blake and Self at the Salon de la Jeune Peinture.

Cat startled by a lizard, 18 x 25 in., by Coque
Martinez at Trafford, 119 Mount Street, W.1 from
January 2-26. The exhibition, 'Mount Street Group
'68', includes paintings by Banks, Bagnoli,
Berrisford, Fini, Hughes, Lepri, Deman, Swimmerand
others. Coque Martinez, born in Navarra, Spain,
studied in England with a scholarship from the
Fundaçion Juan Luis Vives. He has held one-man
shows at the Spanish Institute, Arthur Jeffress,
A.I.A. and Trafford.
