special editions of lithographs created for the

10 x 19 in., by Giuseppe Capogrossi at II Bisonte,
via San Niccolo 28, until January 15. The
exhibition is of lithographs and etchings published
and printed during the last year by the atelier of the
Bisonte. Also exhibiting are Alabria, Calder,
Fazzini, Greco, Guttuso, Manfredi, Moore, Morlotti,
Sutherland, Klasen, Tavernari and Treccani.

White line 1967, 20 x 21 in., by S. W. Hayter at
Magdalene Sothmann, N.Z. Voorburgwal 284, until
January 22. Born in London in 1901, Hayter studied
chemistry and geology at Kings College and
researched in organic chemistry in Iran until 1925,
when he studied at the Academic Julien in Paris.
He has held many exhibitions in the United States
and Europe. (Price range: $200—$3,000.)
Stockholm

XYCA 1967, 104 in., high, by 011e Baertling at
Aronowitsch, Karlavagen 69, and Bleue,
Sturegatan 28, from January 13. The exhibition is
titled 'From abstract movement in constructive
art to open form'. Baertling's sculpture and
paintings are also being shown, together with
the work of four other Swedish artists, at Musee
des Arts Decoratifs, Palais du Louvre, Paris, in
January, after which they will travel to Brussels
and then to the Tate Gallery, London. Baertling
has a one-man show at Rose Fried Gallery, New
York, opening on January 7.
