      Hands 1967, sfumato, candle smoke on board,
      16 x 12 in., by David Boyd at Zwemmer until
      June 30. Winner of the Italian Government art prize
      for Australia in 1961, Boyd then went to live in
      Rome before coming to London where he is
      currently living. (Price range: 40 gns-400 gns.)

      One Step Back 1966, oil on canvas and wooden
      shelf covered with plastic, 36 x 36 in., by Allen
      Jones at Arthur Tooth and Sons in an exhibition of
      new paintings June 27 to July 15. A student at
      Hornsey and Royal Colleges of Art, Jones has had
      one-man shows at Arthur Tooth in 1963 and 1964,
      and in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and
      Zurich in 1964-6. He won the prize for young
      artists in the 1963 Biennale de Paris.

      Midas I 1967, steel, glass and brass, height 2 ft,
      by Bryan Kneale in a summer show at Redfern,
      June 6-Sept. 30. First prize winner of the Daily
      Express Young Artists Exhibition in 1954, Kneale
      participated in the Battersea Exhibition of SculpturE
     1963 and 'British Sculpture in the Sixties', Tate, 1965

     Prime of Youth 1961, oil on canvas, 40 x 27 in., by
     Peter Ibbetson at Circle until June 24. Born in 1909
      of Irish and Yorkshire parentage, Ibbetson had art
      training at Bradford College of Art and Central
     School of Art, London, and studied in Paris and
     Spain. His painting is influenced by the world of
      John Donne, Blake, Manley Hopkins and Rilke.

     Seated Harold Wilson 1966, papier mâché and card
      painted, 13½ x 6½ x 10½ in., by Michael John
     Davidson until June 23 in one of three one-man
     exhibitions-with Christine Smith and Frank
     Dolphin-at Grabowski. A student at Berkshire and
     Hornsey Colleges of Art, Davidson now teaches at
      Birmingham School of Art. He won an honourable
     mention at John Moore's Liverpool Biennial, 1963.

     Theme approx. 1966, oil on canvas, 72 x 50 in., by
     Georgina (Atkins-Hunt) at Drian June 6-30 in her
      first one-man show. Georgina was a student at the
     Slade School of Art from 1945-50, and has taught
     at the Indaleni Art School for Africans in Natal.
