Su btopian Landscape 1965 etching and screen-
print, 31 x 23 in. by Richard Chesterman at
Arnolfini, 42 Triangle West, Bristol, until July 12, in
'Learning For Pleasure', an exhibition of paintings,
drawings, original prints and sculpture for schools,
universities and colleges of further education. The
exhibition will include work by Gillian Ayres, Anthony
Currell, Alan Davie, John Dee, David Hockney, John
Howlin, Allen Jones, Roger Leigh, Neil Murison, Sally
Parkin, Michael Rothenstein, Julian Trevelyan and

The Avellas 1966, oil on board, 48 x 34 in., by Norman
Gilbert at Stable Gallery, Lower Ufford, nr.
Woodbridge, Suffolk, until June 17. Born in Trinidad
of Scottish parents, Gilbert now lives in Glasgow,
where earlier he studied art. His first one-man show
took place this March at Upper Grosvenor, London,
and a one-man show is being planned at Traverse,
Edinburgh, during the Edinburgh International
Festival in August/September. (Price range: 40 gns-

Chamberlain at Gordon Maynard, 22 Parkway,
Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, from June 6-24,
together with Peter Gilman. Vice-chairman of the
Hertford Art Society, and recently elected to
Chelsea Art Society Council, Chamblerlain
exhibits regularly at the Royal Society of British
Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, National
Society of Painters, Sculptors and Engravers, and
the Royal Society of Marine Artists. (Price range:

48 x 36 in. by Robin Ball at Ash Barn, Winchester

who was a student at Hastings School of Art and the
Royal College of Art, has had three one-man
exhibitions atthe Ashgate, Farnham. (Price range:

Black and White 1966, canvas and wood, 36 x 9 x 5
in., by Terry Frost in an exhibition of paintings and
drawings at Queen Square, Claypit Lane, Leeds, until
July 1. A Gregory Fellow in painting at Leeds
University 1954-6, Frost has had one-man exhibitions
at Waddington, London, and Bertha Schaeffer, New
York. Last month the Lincolnshire Association
devoted their major exhibition for this year to an

Aviator 1967, oil on canvas, 6 x 4 ft, by William
Crozier, one of fifteen artists representing the
Richard Demarco Gallery, 8 Melville Crescent, in
the new Gallery of Modern Art in Warsaw until
June 20. Artists exhibiting include Lord Haig,
Patrick Heron, John Houston, James Howie, Justin
Knowles, John Knox, Rory McEwen, Alastair Michie
Frank Phelan, Robin Philipson, Michael Tyzack,
Tony Underhill, Alan Wood and William Wright.
In October a reciprocal exhibition of fifteen
contemporary Polish artists will be held at Demarco
