13¾ in. by Guy Harloff, in a one-man show at Milano,
46 via della Spiga, during June. Born in Paris in 1933,
Harloff spent ten years there and four years in
Morocco before settling in Milan in 1965. His one-man
shows include Galleries del Naviglio, Milan; Ia Cour
d'Ingres, Paris; Ernest Raboff, Los Angeles; del
Cavallino, Venice; II Punto, Torino; and two group
exhibitions in Rome at Salon de Mai and Arco
d'Alibert. (Price range: Lire 120,000—Lire 400,000.)

Vo 3 1966, oil on canvas, 19⅝ x 19⅝ in., by Jakob Bill
at Suzanne Bollag, Limmatquai 116, from June 15
to July 18. Born in 1942 in Zurich, Bill studied
prehistorical and classical archaeology as well as
art history atthe University of Zurich. His paintings
lave been shown in Switzerland, Germany, France,
taly and Austria. For the current exhibition, a special
silk screen has been printed— Sw. Fr. 30.

14 East 57th Street, June 20—July 7. Entitled 'Views of
Hamburg', the exhibition, organized by the Hamburg
Kunsthalle, includes oils, watercolours, drawings
grid prints by Bonnard, Corinth, Kalckreuth,
kokoschka, Vuillard, Nolde, Nesch and others.
Dr Alfred Hentzen, Director of the Hamburg
Kunsthalle, made the selection.

Stenographer's Sheet 1966, spray lacquer and stencil
on canvas, 71 x 48 in., by Alex Hay at Kornblee,
58 East 79th Street until June 16. Hay is much
nvolved with theatre and dance, and was with the
vierce Cunningham Company on its world tour in
964. His theatre dance pieces include 'Rio Grande',
Stockholm, 1964, and 'Grassfield', New York this year.
Group exhibitions include Leo Castelli 1964.

Ubu Père et Fils 1966, oil, 58¼ x 49⅝ in., by Max Ernst,
it Alexander lolas 15 East 55th Street, in a gallery
group through June. Born in 1891 and an important
member of the Dada movement in Cologne, Ernst
nade a series of collages entitled Fatagaga. He
participated in 1925 in the first group exhibition of the
Surrealists at the Galerie Pierre, Paris, and in 1926
published Histoire naturelle, rubbings and a collage-
sovel, La Femme 100 Têtes in 1929. Exhibiting with
Ernst are Magritte, Raysse, St Phalle and Tinguely.
