Zoetrope 1965, glass 54 x 42 x 12 in. by Harry
Seager in a one-man show at Gimpel Fils, 50 South
Molton Street, W.1 until October 28. Seager was
born in 1931 in Birmingham, where he studied.
He travelled to Hong Kong and the Far East and
now teaches at Stowbridge College of Art. (Price
range 150 gns-350 gns.)

Toynbee at the Leicester Galleries, 4 Audley
Square, W.1 until October 21. Also exhibiting are
Marit Aschan (enamels) and Glenn Hellman

A Moorish cafe 1896 oil on canvas, 24* x 29+ in.
by Sir Frank Brangwyn, R.A. at the Fine Art Society,
148 New Bond Street, W.1 in a centenary
exhibition from October 23 to November 11.
Frank Brangwyn was born in Bruges in 1867, and
came to London when he was eight years old.
In 1882-4 he was employed in William
Morris's workshop. He gained a wide international
reputation in the early part of this century, which
has since been heavily eroded. The present
exhibition will provide opportunity for the reputation
one way or the other. (Price range £25-£2,500.)

Winnower brass and bronze 10 in. high, by Sean
Rice at the Alwin Gallery, 56 Brook Street, W.1
until October 28. Sean Rice was born in London in
1931 and studied at the Brighton College of Art
and the Royal Academy Schools, after which
he was awarded the Prix de Rome Scholarship.
Also exhibiting are Michael Kluge and Roderick
Barrett. (Price range £.50-£500.)

Ottilie Tolansky trained in Berlin and London, and
has had four one-man shows in London. (Price
range 20 gns-100 gns.)

by Roger Mühl in a joint show of recent paintings
with Jules Cavailles at Tooth's Gallery, 31 Bruton
Street, W.1 until October 21. Both artists have
previously exhibited at this gallery; Cavailles has
exhibited at Galerie Schmidt in Paris this year, and
Muhl at the Findlay Gallery, New York. (Price range
£200-£550.)
