         hand-held camera, the cameraman
         should systematically travel around the
         edge of the performer's body, so that
         only the extreme edges of the body are
         recorded.

         Technical instructions: using a sensitive
         microphone, record a sonic diagram of
         the performer's body, by running the
         microphone around the edge of the
         performer's body. This block of sound
         should be used in the film, in conjunction
         with black spacing.

         activate 'SNARE' — a sound installation
         using drums. Record both the
         performing technician and the
         installation sound.
         Technical instructions: the cameraman
         should record the technician as he moves
         to activate the installation, and as he
         holds two vibrating sticks (`DRUMMED
         STICKS') to the skins. Cease filming.
         Record 4 minutes of sound.
         Optical sound/full volume. Editing.
         B/W.
